CaseMe launched the iPhone 12 series Case on its official website and released the name of the Case. The new iPhone lineup will be called iPhone 12 Mini Case, iPhone 12 Case, iPhone 12 Pro Case and iPhone 12 Pro Max Case. The iPhone 12 is expected to be officially launched by Apple in October.
The four names correspond to the expected lineup of four screen sizes. The iPhone 12 Mini will represent the new smaller 5.4-inch model. Case Me says the 5.4-inch screen will also come with a smaller notch. The current smallest flagship iPhone is the 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro, and the upcoming 5.4-inch model will be much smaller. Like the iPhone 11, the mid-range model will be called the iPhone 12 and will have a 6.1-inch display. This year, however, all iPhone 12 devices are thought to have OLED displays.
The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max follow the precedents apple has set over the past two generations. The iPhone 12 Pro will have a 6.1-inch display, while the Pro Max will have the largest screen ever on the iPhone, measuring 6.7 inches diagonally.
All models are believed to be powered by an Apple A14 chip and support 5G cellular networks. But nothing on the iPhone 12 will come bundled with earplugs or chargers for the first time. Apple foreshadowed the move by announcing, on environmental grounds, that the Apple Watch Series 6 would no longer have a power adapter.
