Samsung is developing the Galaxy S21 5G with the S Pen

Impressed with its Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung appears to be planning to add stylus support to Galaxy S21 5G, which could become Samsung’s favorite brand if the feature and its high-end offerings in early 2021 prove successful.

It’s unclear how many of the three major Galaxy S21 variants will have built-in digitizers to make this feature a commercial reality, but at least according to this report, Samsung’s intention to phase out the Note series is imprinted. Not surprisingly, Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G is the main culprit here, accelerating the global adoption of foldable devices and potentially spawning all sorts of sequels and spin-offs that will require Samsung’s full attention as the tech giant looks for the next trend shift in the industry.

While it’s true that Samsung’s Note phones never gained mainstream popularity with the S-series, it’s hard to deny its impact on the mobile industry as a whole. Great success comes with great responsibility, and if Samsung does decide to terminate the brand soon, it can expect strong opposition from Galaxy Note loyalists.

The only way to placate potentially disgruntled customers is to release the best Samsung smartphone ever made in the Galaxy S21 5G. Then release a better Samsung smartphone in the S22. Current speculation leads us to expect significant incremental upgrades in spring 2021, including usual processing power enhancements and fairly fast charging schedules.

By the way, all the signs point to support for the S21 5G, S21+ and S21 Ultra models, and oddly, the intermediate version is becoming the most compelling of its kind. Unless, of course, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G will be the only one of the three products to offer S Pen support, a theory that has been widely used recently.
