Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro Case Leak

Samsung will release its first rugged new 5G smart device — Galaxy XCover6 Pro, which brings most of the features a smartphone has come to expect. Starting with the display, the XCover6 Pro brings 6.6-inch TFT (instead of OLED) with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, it’s very rugged. In terms of protection, we have IP68 waterproof and dustproof certification and MIL-STD-810H certification. The display on the XCover6 Pro has higher touch sensitivity, making it easy to operate even with gloves or wet hands.

The XCover6 Pro also supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6E. It is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is expandable via microSD. The camera system consists of a 50MP main rear sensor and an 8MP ultra wide Angle auxiliary, while a 13MP lens takes care of the front camera tasks.

The ribbed plastic back actually contains a detachable battery, a big change from most modern phones. This is a 4,050 mAh battery, so it’s definitely not the biggest battery in town, but the fact that it’s detachable is noteworthy in itself. In addition to the USB Type-C charging port, there is a set of POGO charging pins that allow users to dock and quickly charge their devices.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro will go on sale in Europe, Asia and the Middle East starting in July. The device costs about 600 euros. Samsung is expected to officially launch the XCover6 Pro alongside its Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro tablet on July 13.
