If all goes well, the Samsung Galaxy S21 should be officially available in January, around the same time. We’ve also heard that Samsung may officially launch the phone in December later this year and start selling it in January. So far, very little is known about the phone from a specs point of view, but we do know what the overall look of the phone looks like from some of the Samsung Galaxy S21 case exposures.
These renderings are basically from the CaseMe case makers and show what we believe to be the basic Galaxy S21 or S21 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus case looks official, giving us a good idea of what the device will look like.
The Galaxy S21 does look a lot like the Galaxy S20 in the exposed images, which is not bad. I believe we’ve reached the pinnacle of smartphone design, and it’s good that what we’re seeing is just a small improvement on what we’ve already seen.
That said, we’ve heard that Samsung expects the Galaxy S21 series to be popular, as the company aims to reduce initial production. This seems sensible, but it can also backfire if demand outpaces supply.
In addition, there are rumors that the Samsung will be completely eliminated from the Galaxy Note series, as the S21 Ultra should support the S-Pen. The S-Pen design can be seen in the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra case, and in either case, we’ll find out more about the phone in the coming months.
