Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Case Rendering Leak

Samsung set itself apart last year with the launch of the Galaxy S20 FE. The fan version has proved to be one of Samsung’s most successful devices of the year, so it’s only natural that the company wants to release a sequel this year. There is almost no doubt that Samsung will release the Galaxy S21 FE this year. The company, at least indirectly, acknowledged the phone’s existence when it made an unexpected mention of it on its CaseMe official website this week.

Just as the Galaxy S20 FE’s design was inspired by the high-end flagship Galaxy S20 Trio, the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE is expected to feature a new design language similar to the Galaxy S21.

A Samsung Galaxy S21 FE case rendering shows that the phone will follow the same design principles as the Galaxy S21 series, especially when it comes to the camera case. It wraps around the top and side edges of the device, so it doesn’t look like an afterthought.

The phone has a 4,500-mAh battery capacity, and there is speculation it could have a 6.4-inch flat-panel display. The selfie camera is said to be a 32MP unit, and the phone can be available in grey, green, purple, pink and white. A report in March suggested that Samsung may be planning to release the Galaxy S21 FE sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.

A roadmap purporting to detail Samsung’s 2021 launch plans was leaked last month, indicating that the Galaxy S21 FE will be unveiled at a dedicated Unpacked event scheduled for August 19. That lends credence to the idea that Samsung will show the world the Galaxy S21 FE on Aug. 19.
