If you can’t wait to get your hands on Samsung’s 2021 flagship mobile phone, the new leaked Samsung Galaxy S21 phone case reveals some details about the Galaxy S21 phone’s potential design and release date. Since this information is not official, the actual Galaxy S21 may look different, but this leak still gives us an idea of what to expect early next year.
According to CaseMe pictures of the case, the front of the phone hasn’t changed much from its predecessor, and the future device looks very similar to the S20, including a hole in the center of the screen to accommodate the selfie camera. However, the back has been raised and the new camera setup appears to protrude from the frame, creating a relatively thick bulge estimated at 1.1mm.
What’s more, rumors are hinting that the phone could be released in January 2021, much earlier than usual. And while only the Design of the S21 has emerged so far, the company is expected to launch three devices, including the “Plus” and “Ultra” models.
Much remains unknown about Samsung’s future flagship products, including battery sizes and detailed specifications. So far, the name is unclear, as we’re not sure if it will be called Galaxy S21 or S30. We will inform you in time as we will learn more about the company’s upcoming product line.
The image shows that the S21 Ultra should have a curved display, measuring between 6.7 inches and 6.9 inches. The larger display means the phone will also be larger than the S21, measuring about 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9mm. The main design difference is the back of the handset, from which the huge 1.9mm thick camera module juts out. The latter has four sensors and LED lights, which, interestingly, are not part of the “standard” S21 camera setup.
Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra case doesn’t appear to have an S-Pen slot, which probably means it won’t come with one. It’s unclear whether the device will still be compatible with Samsung’s stylus, but even if it proves to be so, you’ll have to carry it separately.
