The Samsung Galaxy S22 will be available in three sizes: 6.06 inches, 6.55 inches and 6.81 inches. But standard Galaxy S21 is 6.2 inches, the Galaxy S21 Plus model is 6.7 inches, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra is 6.8 inches. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) is expected to fall somewhere between the standard S21 and S21 Plus models, with a 6.4-inch screen.
Samsung claims that phones using its LPTO panel, including the Galaxy S21 Ultra, consume 16% less power. Reserving it specifically for S22 Ultra buyers could see one of two ways: a cost-saving measure to allow the S22 and S22 Plus to be sold at a lower price, or a way to upsell the Ultra version to people who want the best possible battery life and screen, technically imaginable.
All of this should be taken with a degree of skepticism for now, given that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series isn’t likely to arrive with us until January 2022 at the earliest. But with Samsung’s new iSocell JN1 camera sensor with a minuscule 0.64 micron pixel size, and a possible collaboration with AMD for a huge graphics boost, it’s possible that Samsung’s new iSocell JN1 camera sensor has a tiny 0.64 micron pixel size.
