iPhone 13 Pro Max cases show all the upgrades

CaseMe, a manufacturer of protective cases, released the iPhone 13 series of protective cases. When accessory manufacturers began to release their accessories a few weeks before the expected iPhone release, all leaks began to become a reality.

As we saw in the iPhone 12 Pro in this new case, even though the arrangement of the lenses still looks the same, the iPhone 13 has a larger camera module. The thickness of the iPhone 12 Pro is 7.4 mm, which is nearly 10% less than the 8.1 mm thickness of the previous generation iPhone 11 Pro. However, when Apple releases the iPhone 13 in September this year, we should see a negligible increase-about 0.2 mm-bringing the total thickness of the 13 to 7.54 mm.

However, the increase in size of the iPhone 13 and 13 mini appears to be only 0.27 cm. This may be because Apple has changed the sensor arrangement and does not need to increase the size like the non-Pro model. We have seen rumors that the rear camera of the iPhone 13 is oriented diagonally, rather than vertically like the iPhone 12.

One of the most obvious changes on the front of the iPhone 13 is its smaller Face ID notch. According to the measurement results given by Innocent, the notch size may be reduced by more than 25%. This is managed by moving the top speaker above the front sensor of the phone body, rather than maintaining alignment as we have seen on every notched iPhone since the iPhone X.

CaseMe also pointed out that this phone case may be designed for the overall thicker iPhone. Compared with the iPhone 12 Pro Max case, the new iPhone 13 Pro Max case is one millimeter thick. This may be just a simple design difference, but since the iPhone 13 series is said to have added an improved 5G and larger battery, as well as the 120Hz display on the Pro model, perhaps Apple needs extra space to accommodate everything.
