iPhone 12 MagSafe Leather Cases Review

Many people were surprised that Apple didn’t introduce the iPhone 12 leather MagSafe case or its transparent and silicone case. Apple has officially announced that the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro cases will go on sale on Friday, November 6, at the same time as pre-orders for the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Pricing is unclear.

The first impression of the iPhone 12 case is that the case is made of high-quality material and is lined with suede. The exterior provides a smooth but non-slip surface. MagSafe is up and running and has worked well in initial tests.

As we would expect from apple’s other leather accessories, the iPhone leather wallet case continues the tradition of using premium leather, with a special focus on details such as precise stitching. The interior is made of soft materials, one side may be polyester or similar (not microfiber), and the other side is leather, so it won’t scratch your card or ID.

I know I owe him credit for the MagSafe strength of the iPhone leather wallet. I’ve found the same thing with hands-on time, which is certainly easier than you’d like. But I think once you get used to it, you’ll know how to carry it carefully in your pocket (especially tight jeans/pants, etc.) so you don’t fall off.

It doesn’t take much force for the wallet to slide out of alignment, but it certainly locks into place quickly and easily. The case seems most similar to the Apple leather case from previous years, with metal buttons and a soft, tactile interior, except for a ring on the inside of the case to indicate MagSafe’s magnet array. The case also appears to completely cover the bottom of the device and, like Apple’s new silicone case, provides additional protection.
