Foxconn has revealed that apple has asked it to restart production of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. Consumers in Japan and China have been less willing to switch to new iphones because of the high prices of the iPhone XS Max and iPhone XS. But sales of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 have been rising steadily, so apple decided to restart its production lines.

Demand for cost-effective iphones remains high. What most people need is not better cameras, facial recognition, performance and other upgrades, but a high-quality software ecosystem controlled by iOS. So the relatively cheap iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 are most popular with consumers.

Chinese handset accessory manufacturer CaseMe also confirmed this news, as they decided to increase the production of iPhone 7 Case and iPhone 8 Case to meet the demand of future iPhone accessories.
