Apple has launched the iPhone 12 Studio, an experience that allows potential iPhone 12 owners to actually experiment with different color combinations of accessories for their smartphones.
Visitors to iPhone 12 Studio will be able to select each available color from the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max models. Users can then select the iPhone case and MagSafe wallet and place them virtually on an on-screen device.
After selecting, the user is then asked to enter his name, then to select from two different views on his iPhone, and finally to download. This will produce an image of the iPhone and accessory combination as well as the # iPhone 12Studio tag.
The move is aimed at helping customers get the look-and-feel they like and could encourage purchases of extras such as the iPhone 12 case. It also designed the ability to create images using user names and to use # tags to share user designs through tools on social media.
