As far as what to expect from the Galaxy Note 8, we’ve seen plenty of hints. Samsung’s own press material has suggested, unsurprisingly, the return of the iconic S Pen, along with the addition of an Infinity Display.
In essence, on Wednesday you’ll see the first Samsung flagship with a dual-camera. Also differentiating it from the only slightly smaller Galaxy S8 Plus is an S Pen digital stylus.
Key specifications will almost certainly include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (Exynos 8895 in the UK), 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage (with microSD support), a 6.3in Quad-HD Infinity Display and a 3,300mAh battery. This IP68-rated smartphone will also support fast wired- and wireless charging.
Bixby voice assistant on the Note 8?
Samsung has been pushing the capabilities of its voice assistant Bixby this week, launching the virtual aide to 200 countries including the UK ahead of the launch of the Note 8.
Bixby will almost certainly be available on the Note 8. The rival to Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Assistant arrived on the Samsung Galaxy S8 in March, but was only available in Korean on its launch.
